Nicka K (NK) Lipsticks Review!

NK is a cosmetics brand based in New York in which they sell amazing quality makeup(HD) at amazing cheap prices. They cannot be found in drugstores or a Sephora or MAC or department stores. You'll will probably come across it at your local beauty supply store at a dollar store. The prices ranges from$1.00 to $5.00
PROS:
-Glides on smoothly.
-True to its color pigmentation.
-Very creamy.
-Very versatile. It can be worn alone or with a gloss or as a liptint or lip stain if you blot out the excess. You can also use some of the colors as highlighter on your cheeks. For ex. orchid rose can be used as a face highlighter and it would give a nice dewy, glowy finish.
-Nice range of colors.
-Cheap price.

CONS:
-It doesn't last all day, only a couple of hours, so you will definately have to retouch your lipstick.
-Its creaminess at times may not work for a look you might be going for.

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural Review

(I do have on the powder in this picture. You can check out my video review on youtube in which I apply the powder.

According to MAC, this powder was created to

give a natural matte finish that provides low coverage and can be used to set your foundation or just used as a plain powder all over the face. The powder retails at MAC stores and counters for 27$ and plus tax about 30$ in the US. Its 10 grams or .35oz.

There are 10 shades of this product.

I have deep dark.

Lets breakdown this product!!

PROS:

-Nice sleek packaging.

-Low to medium coverage.

-Its is buildable to heavy coverage but can easily look cakey.

-Evens out skintone.

Does a great job of soaking into the skin and blending with the skin's through color.

-Great even when worn on its own.

-Buildable coverage.

- Has enough amount of tiny shimmers that does mattify your face but doesn't wash you out

- Lasts a really long time. I bought it in September 2011 and I have probably used half of the amount; but keep in mind I do not use it all the time.

-Highly pressure together so even though it falls it will not break so easily

-Doesn’t break me out(acne)

- Gives a flawless look to the face.

CONS:

-The clear thing that has the MAC name constantly comes off.

-If you put too much on, you will look cakey.

-If your someone who touches her face alot, you will have finger marks on your face.

- Doesn’t last all day, after about 3 to 4 hours, you will start getting oily.

-Gives off that "I'm wearing makeup" look, the kind that all mac foundations give off, if you use too much you will get that "I'm flawless face," like a plastic Barbie.

Our relationship status: Its complicated.(We sometimes like each other &sometimes we get frustrated with each other, and sometimes I use it just to be able to finish the product.)

Do i hate it? No

Do I love it? No

Do I like it? Yes

Is it worth its cost? 

No because if you're paying so much money for something, you would want to last all day. And after a few hours, it makes your face look crappy so I dont think I'll be purchasing it again.

New Years Revolution!

These are things that I want to better in life during this year. I hope that God will allow this year to be a great year for me and my family. So here it is:

1. I want to loose weight. I want to loose a hundred pounds but I do not plan to loose it all this year. I will be fasting for 2 weeks starting Monday. and then instead of actually eating, I will be doing the Master Cleanse Detox.

2. I want to have outstanding grades in all subjects in school in order for me to have a wonderful and bright future.

3. I really want to start a bakery business with my sister this summer.

4. I want to make more youtube videos and be more serious about updating my subscribers and my blog.

5. I want to build a personal relationship with God.

6. I really want a camera to be able to record outstanding and have records of wonderful memories.

7. I really want to cultivate a healthy lifestyle.

8. I want to start to finish reading the drivers education book that way next year January, after my 16th birthday, I can get my permit.

9. This might sound cliche or shallow but I want to be able to fit into Abercrombie & Fitch jeans. I feel like I will be contended with my appearance if I can be able to fit into the jeans.

10. I need to work my hardest to achieve all of my goals and legitimately not have my dreams shatter right in my face.

It's so Hard!

So, my parents have been in a huge controversy in the past few months and they have now decided to go their different ways in life now after fifteen years of marriage. As known, their decision will have huge impact on me and my sister's life. Every single day when I think of the situation that I am in, I just always regret my birth into the world. The world is just so hard to deal with in every aspect. Ever since I was little, my parents have always been fighting, and it has just made me feel that i have lost all of my childhood innocence. I witnessed too many things that a little child should never have to go through. It kinda baffles me how two human beings can meet each other, "fall in love" and then in the future absolutely become enemies. Everytime my parents are always together, there is never peace or unity. They both absolutely hate each other. And this affects me and my sister. I wish I could do anything to let my sister not witness this, but she just lives like this every single day of her life. She is only twelve and she has truly lost the innocence a child should have. If I was ever granted one wish, I would pray and ask for peace and unity among every one. I pray every single day for peace and unity to be restored into my family but I don't think it can ever happen. When I'm in school and I'm suppose to be focusing on my school work, I just constantly think of my situation. It is what is allowing my grades to constantly drop. I had so much dreams and aspirations in life, but they truly are just continuing to be flushed downed the toilet as my hope dies. Ever since I moved to America over five years ago, everything has truly went down spiral. I can truly say that I regret coming to the land of many opportunities in which In God We Trust. I am a person who isn't so open to talking about my emotions, but I do hope that whoever reads this learns that wherever you are and whoever you become, PLEASE never be the reason for hurt and sadness in a person's life. In everything you do, always try your hardest and never let anyone conquer over you. I have been conquered but it is never too late to be rise to the top. I hope the good Lord answers my prayer and restore happiness into my family and my life.

Merry Christmas !

Hey Lovelys!

So X-Mas was a couple of days ago and I had a good time! I hope that you all did also. I live in New York if you didn't know, and the day after christmas I was suppose to go to a party after church but it snowed heavily, it was actually a blizzard! And so I did not go, but on christmas eve, I did go to my friend, Meghan's party. The day before christmas, I did also go to the mall with her and she got me a Sephora gift card for christmas! She's so lovely.
